The Massachusetts State AFA has created an annual competitive scholarship award for Air Force Junior ROTC Cadets Seniors who have been accepted to college.

This scholarship, the "Winston S. ("Win") Gaskins High Flyers Award" was established and named in honor of the late Winston S. Gaskins, former MA State AFA President, retired USAF Master Sergeant and long-term friend of AFA.  Multiple awards are made on the basis of Cadets' essays and recommendations by the Senior Aerospace Science Instructors.

For your planning purposes, applications are solicited in January with responses due by 1 May and awards announced and presented at school awards ceremonies in the late May / early June timeframe.
