SECDEF MESSAGE: Care For Wounded Service Members

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (February 7, 2007)
--- With a major lead gift of $5,000, Service Credit Union kicked off the fund raising campaign of the New Hampshire chapters of the Air Force Sergeants Association and the Air Force Association. The organizations plan to build a memorial to honor all New Hampshire men and women who have served in the United States Air Force. The memorial is to be erected at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery in Boscowan, NH. It will honor all of those who have served in the Air Force, the AF Reserve, the NH Air National Guard and all members of former U.S. Army Air Service.

Coming This Spring
We are planning an event that will get us all together and allow you to see what we have planned for the memorial. In addition to that we’ll have a presentation on the State Veteran’s Cemetery. As I have met with members across the state I have come to realize that many of us don’t know about this benefit nor have we ever visited the incredibly beautiful and serene place.
